Art and creation in general appealed to Anna Karen from a young age.
Painting and drawing of course, but also the history of Japanese art, since she had the opportunity to study the traditional aestheticism of this country, during her university studies, from 2006 to 2008.
This passion leaves traces in each of her paintings, as do the various trips she has made to the land of the rising sun.
However, it is not a professional artistic universe that will frame her life. Her reasonable and scientific nature prompted her to change her path, towards pharmacy.
Since then, she has nevertheless broadened her influences in the contemplation of Western paintings of the Japanese movement (Klimt, Manet…), not to mention the many modern and contemporary Japanese artists (Hiroshige, Kawase Hasui, Hajime Namiki etc).
One beautiful day in 2012, thanks to the internet, she stumbled upon Hiramatsu's works.
The emotion felt is such that it was essential for him to reproduce one of his works, for his own pleasure.
And so she went back to painting, having fun, and then creating her own original canvases.

At first, it's just a hobby. But a real construction is developed, first by setting up a workshop, then by meeting other artists, painters and illustrators from the field of the imagination.
She also studies and works on the visual identity of video games and Japanese animation, through canvases and digital paintings, using the dreamlike backgrounds and decorations of these cultural media.
2013 was the year of his first exhibition, at a show dedicated to Asia and its
different cultures.
In 2016, she received the prize from the Conseil Général de Seine-et-Marne at the painting fair in Saint-Mammès.
Many collaborations are emerging, in the artistic field but also in publishing, teaching, decoration and events.
In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.
It is the phases of research and the beginnings of a work that transcend her the most,
engage his imagination and make his mind travel.
